So another season of netball has begun for the ECOM ladies. Well it had already started and we're lucky enough to take the place of another team who failed to make a team each week... The only downside is, we're bottom of the league. This will not dampen our spirits though! After a great end to last season and bringing home silverware for the cup game, I'm almost certain we will be climbing back up the table soon!
This week in particular was our best game yet and all our players were on top form. Honestly, I've never seen a team give 100% effort each quarter. Emma Coker is one to mention after making team of the week consecutively with her excellent GA skills - won't be able to make it three though due to Glasto (actually we'll be losing three other players - fingers crossed for us to win please)! Lisa is a newcomer to the netball team and has made her mark in defence, again another one to mention for team of the week! Charlene is back at her best in attack whizzing around everywhere (and beautifully modelling our trophy below) and Kate has been scoring goals left, right and centre. Vicky is also another one to mention, great hybrid player... Great in defence, attacking and shooting! What a multi-tasker!
We're playing the same team next week who we lost by two points to (TWO POINTS!!!) So keep an eye out to see how we get on next week...
